Post Reactions v1.0.1
Reviews
It works fine, but it's almost pointless because members are not notified when there is a reaction, and it also does not show who reacted. Members would still need to use the thumbs up to bring attention to the fact that they reacted to the post or else the poster may never even be aware there are reactions to look at.
Useful plugins.
It has the following draw backs from my point of view that would be good to improve on:
1 It only allows a single reaction
2 It does not show who provided the reaction
3 The UI is click button-> click icon-> click ok. Would have been better to hover over a drop down and click the target with a single mouse operation.
4 Providing a numeric Id for each icon is tedious and seems unnecessary. Why not just auto assign?
Great plugin. Just wish there was a way to have notifications for the plugin.
Awesome Plugin would love it even more if it had notifications for when someone reacts to there post.
This is a great little add-on plugin that will let your members select from as many reactions as you set up. I configured mine with 15 images and their associated "reaction" (text label), with most of them being animated GIFs. How cool is that? Just be sure to install the required Yootil plugin first (if you don't already have it).
Awesome!

Doesn't work for my forum (chillout.boards.net)

You could have the option to see who it was that made such a reaction
I would rate it higher if I could. Really it's 10000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000/10 but you can't do that. Could you maybe make the reactions smaller?
Works perfectly as long as you hide a shoutbox on the page you want it to show up on. Plugin creator very helpful and helped me figure out what was wrong with my coding to make it work. Beautiful and works like a charm. Five Stars.
Works fine and does what intended. The selection process itself could use some small tweaks though—it's just a list of images (which also expands horizontally instead of vertically, the former being unsightly) with no context unless hovered over. Allow us to choose if we want the list to expand vertically, and the option to show what the reactions are at a glance.
As another small visual tweak, it might be more appealing to have the option to make the list in style of radio buttons, as the current method (shaded for non-selected, brightened for selected) isn't visually conclusive at a glance.
Great plugin!
Just one suggestion, could you make it so that you don't have to create your own reactions, link them to images, name them etc., and instead have all the reactions pre-made, and you would be able to disable the ones you don't want, and edit the existing ones if you wish? I think that would be a fantastic update.
Otherwise, it's great, I had no trouble with it.

Converted some ES6 to ES5 to support IE 11 (done this to prevent polyfilling for now).
