Easy Content Manager

Could be a good thing but the instructions are not clear I think with a lot of these plugins, that we are all supposed some sort of wizz kids. I'm an old man who clicked on an add that said start your own forum it's easy. I can't find help with this and I doubt many others have either. Instruction "Create an element with an id where you want to insert/manage content." I'm a normal bloke off the street . You need to explain this in plain English and with clarity. I clicked the "need help " and searched for the plugin but found nothing. I really want to find something that can let me put content where I want. I'm sure this can but I have no idea what to do with it
