Quick Reply BBCode Buttons Featured v1.0.0
Reviews
bloody fantastic!!!!!!!
What a godsend! Very slick. Configurable. Great coding. Thank you!
Great plugin! Thanks so much!
Very helpful! ?
Works perfect. Quick and super easy to use
Always loved this plugin! But a lot of the plugin doesn't load customized BBC icons. So you have extra features like the soundcloud or spoiler buttons installed it looks really tacky.
We don't use the Quick Reply on our forum but this plugin is still very useful. One-click drop-in of tags not present in the editor makes life so much simpler, especially when very long strings of multiple attributes are involved.
The creator of this plugin has been very helpful and quick to respond when questions were asked. It is well supported.
Unfortunately, this one only gets 5-stars because the rating system doesn't go any higher.
Perfect plugin
Very useful and love the versatility!
Thank you so much - Exactly what i was looking for!
I absolutely love this, thank you! =0)
Excellent! Speeds up post formatting!
I'm almost mad for just now finding this after 2 years of administration.
Not sure how I missed rating this plugin. Having said, one GREAT plugin it is!
Brilliant.
THANK U SO MUCH! THIS REALLY HELPED ME!!
A 5* plugin thanks.
This is a life saver. XD
One plugin that I always install, since I'm more a quick reply kind of guy. :)
Great Plugin!
(thank you for updating it to use theme button images and smilies instead of default ones)
O GOD! I finally found it! THANK YOU!!!!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! I absolutely love this feature and how you can add/remove buttons and even customize your own. Plus, it's super, super easy without having to deal with any code or theme-managing! Awesome! Oh, and did I say thank you? LOL
Great idea! I'm so glad I found this plugin.
FANTASTIC!!!!!!!!!!!
AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! THIS HELPS A LOT!!!!!
Exactly what I was looking for :)
Great, does what it says on the tin. Thank you!
Ah, you wonderful person you! Wonderful, easy plug-in and works like a charm. You are a magician.
Great plugin! Thanks for your efforts. It would be nice to see any Admin added smilies incorporated, but great as is.
EPIC!
REALLY GOOD!
NOW I ADDED CENSORED WORD BUTTON, you should keep your awesome work, improve this and let the buttons (or disabled ones dont appear in...) be also in shoutbox!
A good thing to do, is to allow custom buttons to shoutbox, also, disable buttons from shoutbox, perfectly good
This is as good as it gets! hats off to Eton!
I love this plugin, thank you & Namaste
Love it.
A timeless classic. I had no idea you could add additional BBCode buttons, also.
Great i needed this thx

- fixed Internet Explorer disappearing document selection on preview tab
- added 'wysiwygcreate' custom event after quick reply buttons build
- fixed Internet Explorer disappearing document selection on preview tab
- added 'wysiwygcreate' custom event after quick reply buttons build
v0.9.81 - December 28, 2014
v0.9.7 - December 22, 2014
- added embed button to fire tab so it can be removed by placing a check next to it
Dec 20, 2014 (v0.9.6):
- adds support for the new insert embed button
- added option to turn off API-created buttons (for diagnostic purposes)
Dec 11, 2014 (v0.9.5):
- expanded available input types when showing the user a prompt (imported from advanced version)
- checked for [" instead of just [ at start of attribs to avoid confusing expanded inputs with bbcode entered in pragma_content
- allow for the casual occurence of = and | in the attributes field using a double backslash for escaping
- fixed (once again) 1-based array being treated as 0-based array resulting in incorrect button index interpretation (">=" should be ">")
- switched to $.unique_id since tacking on a timestamp was sometimes not sufficient
Dec 09, 2014 (v0.9.4):
- added "create", "addtag" and "insert" callbacks for API
- added feature detect (option) to API so API callers are able to distinguish between basic and advanced plugins
- fixed a bug that broke attribute aliases
- fixed a bug that ignored titles set on the button by an API and instead used name or tag
Dec 01, 2014 (v0.9.3):
- updated api to manually add a button rather than issue an error when buttons have already been created by WYSIWYG
- removed capability for an api call to remove a button (defaults to insert before instead), only buttons created in the plugin can do that
- added ability for api to choose an editor by adding an editor name to the options in the call (e.g. "visual" would add button only to preview tab)
Nov 29, 2014 (v0.9.2):
- added support for restricting custom made buttons to only appear for specific groups or only in specific boards
- added support for protocol agnostic button image urls
- added a rudimentary api with an addButton method for use by other plugins and codes (window.eton.wysiwyg.addButton)
Aug 25, 2014 (v0.9.1):
- pragma_noendtag now outputs bbcode on preview tab because jquery or browser will automatically add an ending tag (must switch to bbcode then back to convert)
Jan 17, 2014 (v0.9.0):
- made attributes field optional
- added ID field to support replacing existing buttons
- added support for pragma_noendtag attribute
- added support for pragma_content attribute (e.g. the "insert code here" seen in code tags)
Dec 20, 2014 (v0.9.6):

[1] Custom buttons can now output BBcode tags that need no corresponding end tags just add "noendtag=1" (minus quotes) in button's attributes.
[2] If the quick reply has no buttons assigned to it then custom buttons created by the plugin will no longer attach there either.
[3] Switched to the same prototype manipulation method the advanced version uses in order to avoid conflicts with other plugins that modify menus such as the smiley menu.
